Disney Trip - Days 3, 4, and 5

On the third day of our Disney trip, we decided to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Nathan and I had never been there, so we were really excited to see what it was like.  It was really awesome!  We spent a lot of time visiting with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.  Then we went on a safari ride.  The safari ride was my favorite part.  We took the whole family onto these huge, jeep-type vehicles and went on a 10 minute ride through what is supposed to be Africa.  We saw so many animals roaming freely and they were so close to the vehicle.  Alexander was so excited.  One of his favorite things to do is look at animals.  I think most of the pictures that we have from Animal Kingdom are from the safari ride.

On the fourth day of our trip, we went to Epcot. We weren't sure if Alexander would like it, but we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be his favorite park! This was also the day that it rained buckets for most of the day. We started our day with a visit with a couple of the characters. Then we rode the Spaceship Earth ride, inside the enormous ball. They have really made some changes to that ride! After that, Julia needed to eat and Alexander was having a meltdown, so we headed to baby care. It was a good thing that we did too, because it started pouring as soon as we got inside. We spend over an hour there, waiting out the storm. After that, we went to the place where all of the characters were located. Alexander wanted to see them so badly that he waited in line for an hour and a half without complaining. I could not believe it. It was all worth it when we got to meet them too. When we had finished with the characters, we went on the Nemo ride. Then we visited some of the countries and ate dinner. Alexander slept through our dinner at a nice Italian restaurant and ended up eating chicken fingers at around 8:00. He was very well rested for the fireworks show. It was a wonderful day.

On the fifth day of our trip, we went back to Animal Kingdom. This time, we didn't visit with the characters. We went straight to the train ride that went to the conservation station. At the conservation station, they have a petting zoo. Alexander was so happy. He just loves animals! Then he got to meet Rafiki from The Lion King. Of course, we couldn't leave Animal Kingdom without another safari ride too. By that time, we were all getting pretty tired, so we left and went swimming at the hotel. Alexander absolutely loved the pool at the resort. It had a water slide that was just the right size for him and he spent the entire time at the pool going down the slide. Nathan and I also went down the slide a few times and it was a lot of fun!
